The Brief
Made in collaboration with the Tokyo-based fashion label, the AMBUSH x Dunk High ‘Cosmic Fuchsia’ celebrates the silhouette’s 35th anniversary with exaggerated detailing.
To market 200 pairs of limited-production shoes, Sneakerboy must design a window sign that catches the eye and stands out from the competition. The sign should feature a bold and attention-grabbing design that is guaranteed to leave a lasting impression.
The Process
Sneakerboy notified us that the sneaker is only available in one colour, which is "Fuchsia." Initially, we planned to showcase a large image of the shoe in the display window, but due to budget constraints, we opted for the Swoosh logo in the second iteration. This decision helped us to reduce half of the printing expenses, while still making a powerful impact with the Fuchsia colour.
The Design
The Nike “Swoosh” logo in "Fuchsia" measures 4.8 meters in total width and is printed on self-adhesive vinyl using wide format printing production techniques with a gloss varnish. When the store opened, all 200 pairs were sold out in just 20 minutes, and sneaker enthusiasts camped out for two days before the sales began.
