About the Client
The world's first luxury sneaker and streetwear store built for the digital age, Sneakerboy merges the efficiency of the Internet with the tangibility of the physical experience. As a retail model, Sneakerboy offers several firsts for today’s digitally accustomed luxury consumer who is able to shop either in-store or on the move – via the world’s first seamlessly integrated digital luxury platform. A fully immersive experience, Sneakerboy stores have no fixed point of sale, but rather, work like a showroom; a luxury shrine where customers can touch, feel and try on any shoe style and size from a gallery of samples housed in-store.
Stocking the worlds leading international brands and fashion houses including Alexander Mcqueen , Balenciaga, Buscemi, Givenchy, Maison Martin Margiela, Common Projects, Raf Simons, Rick Owens, Saint Laurent Paris, Giuseppe Zanotti, Lanvin and more.
The Needs
In 2013, before the era of social media, Sneakerboy required a visually striking and attention-grabbing window sign to attract pedestrians on their opening day.
The Design
Neon signs were suggested as an option for the opening day when budget was not a concern.
To overcome production difficulties and time constraints, we opted to use a transparent vinyl decal affixed to the window glass. This printing technique involved using a combination of white ink and CMYK inks to create a powerful neon bulb sign effect.
